Accomodations

Camper Dorms

Capacity: 450

Creekside's five camper dorms were designed with options and flexibility in mind. Movable walls allow for cabin combinations of 6, 8, 14 and 16 beds. ADA accessible on lower floors; ADA bathrooms in some cabins. Each cabin has direct access to the outside. The second floor cabins are accessed from a shaded wrap-around deck.

Outdoor seating and hangout areas are located under the deck awnings and in small courtyards between dorms.

The cabin names, Ashwood, Badger Creek, Coyote Hills, Donnybrook and Eagle Ridge, refer to local landmarks on Washington Family Ranch property.

Boomtown

Capacity:
Boomtown A & B: 62
Boomtown C & D: 112

In the summer, the work crew, summer staff, medical team, interns and assignment team call Boomtown “home”. The rest of the season, Boomtown provides additional housing for groups that rent Creekside.

A short walk away from main camp, Boomtown has four buildings that include dorm style housing, family suites and common areas with kitchens, dining areas and seating areas. Rock benches and chairs in the courtyard areas provide a pleasant place to sit and chat or rest for a while. Units A & B include suites, lounges and residential kitchen facilities. Units C & D contain bunk rooms and private rooms.

Facilities

The Canopy Activity Center

The Canopy is an open air activity center with plenty of activities for everyone! Tee up on the 9-hole mini-golf course, test out your grip on the bouldering wall, play some foosball, maneuver your way through the heights of the Challenge Course, play some dunk hoops, or challenge your friends in Octoball. When you are ready for some ice cream, the Tin Cup is just down the path, along with the Games Room!

The Canopy is across the lawn from the Water Park, with plenty of space for Outdoor Fun in between!

Tin Cup & Games Room

The Tin Cup, beside the Creekside waterpark, is a great place to grab a snack between meals or hang out on a hot afternoon. Ice cream, sno-cones, pretzels, cold drinks and more! Really hungry? Try the "Mother Lode!" Enjoy your treat with your friends or challenge them to a game of skeeball in the adjacent games room!

Bonanza

Capacity: 400 seated

Music, program, controlled chaos and a simple message about God’s love takes place in the club room each day during camp.

We chose the name Bonanza because it fit the mining theme meaning "an exceptionally large and rich mineral deposit". It also means "something that is very valuable, profitable or rewarding". This is where kids will hear of the greatest treasure they can ever find, Jesus Christ.

Special features include ADA ramp access to a portion of the seating area/stage, foreign language translation capability, and a state of the art audio and video system.

Muddy Station

Capacity: 475 seated

The Muddy Station is Creekside's dining hall. Leaders serve their kids amid mining-themed décor while Work Crew keep the food coming! Meals can be served family-style or buffet, indoors or outside on the extensive lawns and patio.

The Muddy Station offers a fine dining experience in a gorgeous setting, complete with a full sound system and stage. Combine dining with a multimedia experience and performance area, or just enjoy the excellent food crafted by Creekside's food service team!

The Outpost

Capacity: 20 seated

Located at the far end of Creekside's lawns, this inviting space is furnished with sofas, tables and chairs. The Outpost is perfect for small-group gatherings or meetings. Full climate control and bathrooms complete this secluded lounge. On a warm evening, enjoy the rocking chairs under the awning!

The Lantern

Capacity: 70 seated

Tucked between the Bonanza and the Muddy Station, the Lantern serves as a breakout space for meetings held in the larger venues. The Lantern is equipped for video projection and sound. In the summer, leader meetings are held in this space but its layout and central location make it perfect for small receptions, movie nights and childcare.

The Depot

Capacity: Two rooms, 50 seated in each

The Depot is located between the Canopy activity center and the Boomtown housing facility. In the summer the Depot's two rooms are used for our Work Crew and Summer Staff lounges. Each room can accommodate 50 chairs, or 75 people standing. Each room also has a flat-screen TV and the building contains bathrooms. Outside is a shaded patio and fire pit, and extensive manicured lawns.

The Foundry

Capacity: 20 seated

Just beside the Lantern, the Foundry serves in the summer as the headquarters for our Assignment Team. In the off-season, this lounge offers a secluded getaway right in the center of camp. Furnished with couches, tables, chairs and cupboards, this room is a great place for planning, prayer or quiet conversation.

Activities

Explore new heights on our challenge course, scale the bouldering wall, play octoball or shoot hoops, then play a round of miniature golf all in our activity center.

Jump off the waterfall, race your friends down Prospector Plunge, fly down a slide in an inner tube, go through twist and turns on one of the body slides or drop 50' on Big Muddy!

Play on the splash pad where you can cool off without going underwater!

Enjoy the outdoors with a round of disc golf, sand volleyball or whiffle ball. Then build a sandcastle!

Accessibility

We welcome kids of all abilities to our camps. At Creekside, all of our main buildings are accessible to strollers or wheelchairs, and we have a handful of cabins that are designed to be accessible (special housing needs may be requested by your child's trip leader).

Walkways around camp are paved. We will also do our best to help every guest participate in activities. We want every kid to have the best week of their life as they come to camp!
